The association has coarse fishing on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. This has a mixture of coarse fishing species. It should be noted that parts of the canal are in a poor state, with weed and low summer levels, however the good news is a new marina is scheduled to be built next to Cwmbran Town centre to open up boating from Brecon to Cwmbran Town, another 2 miles approximately, major works on clearance and dredging are now being undertaken. This should improve the fishing and access in the next couple of years. Enquiries can be made via the Facebook page.
