Cwmbran Angling Association has 1km of single bank mixed coarse and game fishing on the River Monnow just upriver from Osbaston. This tributary of the Wye has a mix of game and coarse fish. The stretch is very under fished and overgrown, efforts are being made to improve access for 2026. Enquiries can be made via the Facebook page or by email.
