Cwmbran Angling Association has wild brown trout fishing on the Dowlais Brook.

This small stream is a tributary of the river Lwyd. Very overgrown so best fished with a worm.

Memberships and day tickets are available from Paul Churchill and other bailiffs on the bankside at Llantarnam Ponds. Cash or Card machine.
