Swiss Valley Angling Association has the fishing on the lower Swiss Valley reservoir near Llanelli (not to be confused with the upper reservoir, which is a trout fishery). The reservoir holds perch, roach, specimen carp to 30lb, brown trout, eels and pike. For many years the fishing has been regarded as ‘free’, however the club has taken over a lease and have been informed by Llanelli Rural Council that a clubmate portal will be live from August 2023 and permits will be needed from that date. For now, contact the club Facebook group and inquire within regarding the fishing.
