Llyn Helyg, at 30 acres is a spring fed lake and part of Holywell and District Angling Society. Heavily silted (it dates to the 16th Century) it is just 1.2 m deep but it provides a great environment for carp to grow. Common and Mirror carp to 30+ and a few grass carp plus tench to 5+, big rudd and crucians, roach, perch and pike to 20 plus. Only 12 pegs but there are 2 punts for use by members.
