This huge expanse of coast offers sea fishing opportunities that are the envy of the UK – from golden surf beaches and estuaries, to rocky headlands and peninsulas, the variety of sea fishing marks and locations in Wales will astonish. 
 
There is something for every sea angler in Wales – including charter boat fishing from popular tourist towns, where you can enjoy fishing with the family or with friends for anything from mackerel to blue shark, to easy access marks and beaches, where multiple species await, just a cast away. 
 
Our unspoiled shores offer year round fishing for dozens of species, including some of the best bass fishing in the UK, making us a paradise for saltwater bait, lure and fly anglers. Mullet also thrive in Wales, with specimens approaching record size caught each year, which present the ultimate sight–fishing challenge. 
 
Our shores, rock marks, piers and breakwaters regularly produce hard fighting smooth–hound, rays and conger eels to anglers using beach casting tackle – often to over 20lb in weight. Cod fishing in Wales is still viable each year and from autumn onward catches of cod can be made, including double figure fish.  Offshore tope, blue shark and now blue fin tuna offer incredible ‘big game’ sport.
