Slade is a small sandy cove with rocks either side. Fishing is onto steeply shelving ground, similar to the mark being fished. Fish caught include smoothound, bass, mackerel, flatfish, whiting, codling, garfish, dogfish, wrasse, conger, bream, trigger fish, mullet, pollack, plaice. Go to Horton, which is signposted from Port Eynon at the end of the A4118. Here, there is a car park near the beach, followed by a walk to the east.
