Rhymney and District Angling Society

Rhymney and District Angling Society has fishing has fishing on Bryn Brith Pond and Bute Town Reservoir.

These lakes have pike, carp, roach, rudd, perch, tench, bream and gudgeon.

Club waters also include Bute Town, pond feeder, Deri lake, Cwm Darran Park Lake, 2 stretches on the Wye and a stretch on the Brecon canal.

Prices are £5 day tickets and £35 season. Greens fishing tackle or Deri Post office sell tickets

The club once had Rhos Las Reservoir, also known as Rhaslas Pond, which is a 15 acre reservoir. This is no longer leased and was bought by mining company Miller Argent a few years ago. It holds a few pike, perch and roach, but very low stock density.
