Porthcawl has fishing from Trecco Bay, which is a large, sandy and rocky beach, situated in front of Trecco Bay holiday park. It has a mainly sandy bottom. Fish caught in the Porthcawl area include gurnard, bass, rays, pollack, mullet, conger, mackerel. Trecco Bay is signposted off the A4106 east of Porthcawl. Parking is available. Porthcawl also has fishing from a pier, several beaches and rock marks.
