Penarth has fishing from a pier, which fishes onto a clean bottom. The pier is signposted from the town, there is car parking available. Fish include whiting, mullet, cod, bass, conger, pouting, flounders. Penarth also has fishing from a beach, a marina and from several rock marks scattered around, which fish onto mixed ground, depending upon their location.
