Olway Brook - Pontypool Angling Association - Fishing in Wales

Olway Brook – Pontypool Angling Association

Fishing is from the mouth to the road bridge above the Olway inn pub. This is a lowland brook, narrow, deep and slow flowing with inviting pools. The Olway brook holds trout, eels, dace and chub.

There is no spinning allowed for trout, as per an NRW bylaw protecting rivers in the Usk catchment. All fishing is C&R.
