Llyn Aled - Fishing in Wales

Llyn Aled

Llyn Aled is a 110 acre reservoir near Cerrig-y-Drudion. It holds perch, roach and pike, along with the occasional wild brown trout.

From 2025 it will be stocked heavily with rainbow trout, replacing Alwen reservoir as the main multi method trout fishery in the area.

It is an any method fishery and the fishing is controlled by Welsh Water. Enquire at llyn Brenig visitor centre for tickets.

Fishing permits can also be booked online.
