Llyn Aled is a 110 acre reservoir near Cerrig-y-Drudion. Located on bleak moorland, it is circular in shape. It holds rainbow trout, perch, roach and pike, along with the occasional wild brown trout. From 2025 it will be stocked heavily with rainbow trout, replacing Alwen reservoir as the main multi method trout fishery in the area. It is an any method fishery and the fishing is controlled by Welsh Water. Enquire at the llyn Brenig visitor centre for tickets. Fishing permits can also be booked online.
