Llangollen Maelor Angling was formed in November 2011 by a merger between the former Llangollen and Maelor angling associations, which themselves have history stretching back over 125 years. The association’s beats on the River Dee provide members and day ticket anglers with access to around 10 miles of varied water holding salmon, sea trout, and brown trout. There is also coarse fishing for grayling, roach, pike, perch, chub and dace. Dependant upon the beat and time of year, fly, bait and spinning are allowed. Day tickets are available buy online with the Fishing Passport or from our ticket outlets
