This is a mixed coarse & game fishery on the River Wye at Hay-on-Wye. The coarse fishing is truly excellent, the main species being barbel, pike & chub with roach, perch, bream & dace occasionally being caught. Memorable catches include:- Barbel 13lb 10oz Pike 28lb Chub 6lb It has not been fished for salmon for many years, there are many grayling & small trout. Day tickets £15. Yearly tickets £75 (correct as of August 2023) You can buy a day or yearly ticket on the bank from Jeff Morgan by prior arrangement or Golesworthy’s shop in Hay during shop opening hours. The yearly ticket will run one year from the day you buy it.
