Freshwater East is a sandy beach, fishing onto a similar bottom. Fish caught include bass, rays, plaice, turbot, flounder, dogfish, whiting, smoothhound, pollack, pouting. Freshwater East is on the B4584 and is signposted off the B4139 south of Pembroke. There is a pay and display car park a short walk from the beach.
