Ebbw Vale Welfare Angling Club has coarse fishing available on a variety of small stillwaters.

These include:

McHardings Pond, Boat Pond, Cardiff Station Pond, Blaen Cwm Reservoir, Fish Pond, Long Feeder Pond, Doctors Pond, Scotch Pond and Waun Pond.

Fish in these ponds include bream, roach, perch, pike, carp and tench.

Note: There are reports that some of these are no longer fishable, or may have changed hands. The club should be contacted for up-to-date information.
