Brymbo AC have a 3 acre lake in which was a former reservoir for cooling water for the steel works. Renovated, the club has operated Brymbo since the 1970s. Fishing is restricted to members of the club (the club does not offer any day tickets) Open 24/7 the lake is stocked well with a good mix of fish including carp, tench, chub, bream, barbel, roach, rudd, perch and ide.
