Barry has fishing at Bendrick Rock, which fishes onto a mainly clean bottom. Fish caught around Barry include bass, smoothounds, rays, conger. dabs, whiting, cod, mullet, pouting, flounder, plaice, wrasse. Barry also has beach fishing at Cold Knap, Whitmore Bay, Jacksons Bay, Little Island Bay and Watch House Bay. There is also wall fishing at the Old Harbour and the Docks and rock marks, another of the better known being Friar’s Point.
