GPIAC are the fishing club controlling the fishing on the rivers Wye and Irfon around the market town of Builth Wells in mid Wales. Groe Park and Irfon Angling Club has fishing on the rivers Wye and Irfon, a tributary of the Wye, and Llyn Alarch, a coarse fishing lake. The rivers Wye and Irfon have both coarse and game fishing, but are best known for trout fishing, salmon and excellent winter grayling. Llyn Alarch is stocked with coarse fish including carp. Day tickets are available in the high street newsagents in Builth Wells.
