Horton has fishing from a beach and from rock marks on its eastern edge. The beach is the eastern end of the bay, the western section being Port Eynon Beach. Fishing from the beach is onto a steeply shelving mixed bottom and is preferred over Port Eynon Beach to the west. The rocks fish onto rocky ground.

Fish caught include smoothound, bass, mackerel, flatfish, whiting, codling, garfish, dogfish, wrasse, conger, bream, trigger fish, mullet, pollack, plaice.

Horton is signposted from Port Eynon, which is at the end of the A4118. There is a car park near the beach.
