Wirral Game Fishing Club has fishing on a number of quality game fishing venues in North Wales. Most notable is fishing on beats on the famous river Dee at many locations all the way from Bangor-Dee to above Corwen plus water on the rivers Conwy, Elwy and Clwyd, and on a private lake near Denbigh. The club also has 4 rods every day on Llyn Brenig, which can be booked by members. Fish caught include brown trout, sea trout and salmon. The river Dee is also particularly noted for its grayling and the club’s waters include some of the best grayling fishing on the river. In addition there are access agreements with both Rhyl and St Asaph Angling Society and Vale of Clwyd Angling Club, covering their beats on the rivers Clwyd and Elwy, details of which are given in their listings. The Club is strictly restricted to 150 members and there may be a waiting list for membership. Visit the club website for membership details and a contact form.
