Tywyn: South Beach

Tywyn has fishing from South Beach.

It is mainly clean sand with breakwaters at its northern end and a patch of rock at its south.

Fish include eels, bass, garfish, mullet, turbot, dogfish, whiting, rays, plaice.

There are also sewin (sea trout), mainly towards the estuary, which may be fished for with a licence.

To reach South beach, from Bryn Awel Square take Ffordd y Pier (Pier Road) down to the promenade, where there is a car park.

Tywyn also has fishing from on the Estuary and from North Beach.
