Talybont Angling Association has fishing on Llyn Nant y Cagal. This has wild brown trout fishing and stocked rainbow trout. Fly fishing only. This is an accessible moorland lake of about 8 acres. The banks are easy to access and fish. The extensive weedbeds at the top end are a good place to start. Wild brown trout and rainbows grow on to over 2lb. PLEASE NOTE – Fishing is only permitted on the Dam side of the lake and forestry lines only. Day tickets will be available in the 2025 season from: Local garage (Davmor) Cash only, cost £20
