The Neath Canal holds carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch, eels and a few chub and pike, as well as the odd trout. UPDATE: Neath Canal was leased by Skewen Angling Club. They have not renewed the lease for several years. It is believed that to fish all you need is a rod licence, there is no charge to fish this particular stretch at the current time.
