Sirhowy Angling Club has fishing on St. James Reservoir, which is at Georgetown, Tredegar. Fishing is for roach, rudd, tench, carp, gudgeon and perch. The club also has fishing on Cefn Golau Pond for roach, rudd, tench, carp and perch. UPDATE AUTUMN 2026:There is some doubt as to whether the club are still operational. The Facebook page has been de-activated and nobody locally seems to be able to provide any contact information.
