Starting at Brecon Town bridge and then downstream for approximately 1.5 miles, The Breconshire Fishery has productive wild trout fishing. The River Usk at The Breconshire Fishery mostly flows over gravel, meaning that wading is easier than other parts of the river. Along with some good trout fishing, this stretch also has some decent salmon pools. Day and season ticket options are available from Brecon Guild hall and Brecon Pet and Garden Centre. Day tickets can also be booked online with the Fishing Passport.
