Porthcawl: Town Beach - Fishing in Wales

Porthcawl: Town Beach

Porthcawl has fishing from Town Beach, which is a small, mainly rocky beach in the centre of Porthcawl with a largely rocky bottom with occasional patches of sand.

Fish caught in the Porthcawl area include gurnard, bass, rays, pollack, mullet, conger, mackerel.

For Town Beach, travel south on the A4106 in Porthcawl and go straight on across a roundabout. Carry on along the promenade past the harbour. Continue up the Esplanade until you are by the beach. Roadside parking is available.

Porthcawl also has fishing from a pier, several beaches and rock marks.
