Porth Towyn - Fishing in Wales

Porth Towyn

Porth Towyn beach is sandy, with the rocks at each end. It fishes onto mainly clean ground, with the odd rock.

Fish include plaice, dabs, rays, bass, whiting.

The easiest route (travelling on the B4417 from Nefyn) is to look out for a lay-by just after Tudweiliog. Take the first right after this. Follow the lane round a sharp right bend near a caravan park. In a few hundred yards there are chalets on the left and a farm on the right. There is a car park in a field just past these chalets. Walk through the fields to the beach.
