Porth Ceiriad beach is shale at the top, with clean sand elsewhere. It fishes onto clean ground. Fish include huss, wrasse, smoothhound, dogfish, gurnard, rays, bass, pollock, bream, codling, whiting, conger. Go to Sarn Bach, which is signposted from Abersoch. Carry straight on through Sarn Bach, signposted “Cilan”. Travel down this road until Tair Lon cottages and campsite on the right. The next left leads down to Nant-y-Big farm, where there is payable parking. Take the path to the beach, which is accessible via a flight of steps.
