Osprey Fly Fishers Association: River Clydach

Osprey Fly Fisher’s Association is an angling club based in the South Wales area, mostly around Pontypridd and Abercynon.

The club has the Clydach river, a small stream which has a good head of small, but obliging wild brown trout.

The Clydach is a river Taff tributary and has some nice pools and runs. It fishes well even in high water conditions. Lightweight tackle is recommended, the river is narrow with tree cover in places.
