Mumbles: The Pier - Fishing in Wales

Mumbles: The Pier

Mumbles has fishing from a pier, which fishes onto a mainly sandy bottom.

The pier has been closed to fishing since 2025, apparently due to renovations. The start of the pier can still be fished at high water.

Fish caught include bass, codling, conger, dabs, dogfish, flatties, garfish, gurnard, mackerel, pollack, pouting, rockling, whiting and wrasse.

Take the A4067 to Mumbles and continue along the coast road to the pier, which is signposted from Mumbles. There is plenty of car parking adjacent to the pier.

Mumbles also has fishing from a beach, the Knab and rock marks at Mumbles Head.
