Mathern Mill Fishery has two lakes, one with carp and one with tench, chub, rudd and bream. Carp to 26lb. Day-tickets are £7 and are obtained on the banks of the Lakes. You can set-up and fish before purchasing a ticket. What’s being caught? Carp of 8-16 lb, as well as chub and bream. Tactics? Fish the deep water inside with casters and corn over pellets, or straight lead to the island with bread or with a bread bag to catch fish all through the day. No boilies. Constant feeding essential, as carp patrol and need to be pinned down to keep them on your bait.
