A large and deep water supply reservoir, Llyn Celyn holds a few wild brown trout and perch, with small perch being the most abundant species. It was once stocked with rainbow trout and ran as a fishery, however this is no longer the case. Some local anglers regard Llyn Celyn as ‘free fishing’. We have been unable to locate any contact details, but Llyn Celyn is controlled by Dwr Cymru (Welsh Water), and we recommend anglers enquire with them regarding fishing.
