Llandudno: Pier - Fishing in Wales

Llandudno: Pier

*** Public Announcement ***

As of tomorrow (23/07/2024)  the fishing platform will be closed off for the foreseeable future and subsequently no fishing will be allowed off the Pier.
The safety and wellbeing of my staff and the Pier is paramount. The frequency in verbal abuse we’re recieving and constant damage to the gate is relentless. We wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and unfortunately the minority has ruined it for others.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused,
Paul Williams
General Manager

Llandudno has fishing from the Pier, which is at the western end of the North Shore and fishes onto mainly clean ground.

Fish caught around Llandudno include whiting, flatties, dogfish, cod, dabs, mackerel, bass, codling, plaice, flounders, smoothound, coalfish.

The Pier is signposted in the town. There is good parking readily available.

Llandudno also has fishing from North Shore and West Shore, plus rock marks, the most well known of which are probably Pigeon Holes, on the Great Orme and Angel Bay, on the east side of the Little Orme.
