Llanddwyn Bay is a sandy beach fishing mainly onto clean sand. There are occasional outcrops of rock. At the western end is Llanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn), a popular mark. It is a mix of sand and rocks, fishing onto mainly clean ground. Fish caught include bass, dogfish, flatfish, codling, dabs, whiting, rays, coalfish, smoothhounds. Llanddwyn is signposted off the A4080 in Newborough Village. This road leads to the beach. The bay is in a nature reserve and there is sometimes a fee to be paid for entry.
The island is a gentle walk to the west.
