Laugharne - Fishing in Wales

Laugharne

Laugharne has fishing on the estuary of the River Taf.

The fishing is onto silt, with some weedy rocks in places.

The best fishing is probably from the town south to the mouth of the estuary, which can be very muddy. Care should be taken and a wading staff would be useful in places.

Fish include bass, mullet, flounders.

Salmon and sewin (sea trout) may also be present, but these require a licence.

Laugharne is on the A4066 and is signposted off the A40. Parking is available in the town.
