Located in the Black Mountains of the eastern Brecon Beacons, Grwyne Fawr Reservoir is a steep sided water supply reservoir of around 30 acres. It is accessed along a narrow track, with a walk of over a mile required from the nearest parking spot. The lake holds wild brown trout, ranging from 8oz to 2lb. The fishing is controlled by the Glanusk Estate, who are known to issue day tickets for fly fishing. For further information contact Glanusk Estate.
