UPDATE 2024: The association has folded. The fishing rights to both river and lake are now apparently in limbo. Glyncornel Angling Association had fishing on some 12 miles of the River Rhondda, sometimes called the Rhondda Fawr, a tributary of the Taff, for brown trout. The association also had fishing for brown and rainbow trout on Glyncornel Lake.
