Fishguard offers fishing from two harbours, Goodwick and Lower Town. The, much larger, Goodwick harbour fishes best from the breakwaters. The Lower Town harbour can be fished from all sides, with care, moored boats can be a problem. Fish caught include pollack. wrasse, conger, dogfish, cod, whiting, pouting, mackerel, bass, flounders. Goodwick harbour also occasionally producesd a variety of much rarer species. There are car parks alongside both harbours.
