The fishery is a big fish, specimen size stocked put and take trout fishery. As well as a website there is a Facebook Page.

Catch and release options are available at certain times of the year.

Fly fishing and worm float fishing fishing is permitted.

Dare Valley Trout Fishery aims to provide an all-encompassing fly fishing experience tailored to every angler, regardless of skill level. We offer a dynamic range of services and activities that set us apart.

1. Trout Fly Fishing

At the heart of our services is trout fly fishing. Our sparkling lake, stocked with a variety of trout, awaits anglers of all levels. We are including larger fish to 20lb as an additional attraction, offering you the excitement of a bigger catch.

2. Flexible Fishing Packages

We offer half-day and full-day fishing packages, giving you the flexibility to plan your visit according to your schedule. A half-day ticket allows you to catch and keep a maximum of 2 fish, while a full-day ticket extends this to a maximum of 4 fish. Looking for more fishing time or higher catch limits? We offer additional tickets to accommodate your needs and maximize your fishing experience. Worm fishing catch and kill is also available.

3. Sale and Hire of Fishing Equipment

Need fishing gear? We’ve got you covered. Our shop stocks a range of fishing equipment, accessories, and bait for purchase. Additionally, we offer a hire service for fishing rods and equipment, subject to a deposit and charge. As our income allows, we’ll continue to expand this aspect of our services.

4. Fishing Lessons

We offer fishing lessons to anglers of all levels. Whether you’re a complete novice or an experienced angler looking to brush up your skills, our classes are perfect for you. Classes are conducted in mixed groups, with a maximum of twelve people per session.

5. Catering Facility ( Coming Soon )

Our catering facility is open to both our fishing customers and general park users, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, snacks, and a small selection of rolls. The aim is to complement the offerings of the main park café, creating a comfortable and convenient environment for all visitors.

6. Corporate Events

Seeking an offbeat location for your corporate events? Look no further. We offer a unique and serene environment for corporate gatherings on weekdays.

Operating Hours

We are open from 8 am to 9 pm year-round, offering you ample opportunity to enjoy our services. Please note that we’re closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
