Cwmoernant Ponds also known as Tanerdy Reservoirs, are two ponds of about one acre each. It is said they are controlled by Carmarthenshire County Council. There are old fishing platforms on part of the lakes. Locally they are regarded as free fishing for rod licence holders. We cannot establish who has the fishing rights currently, if anyone. So we suggest enquiring locally or with Carmarthenshire County Council. Fish present are said to include roach, rudd, carp, tench, eels and perch.
