Burry Port has fishing from a beach and from the harbour wall. Fish include flounder, bass, eels, mullet, dogfish, whiting. For the beach, follow the “Harbour” signs and park in the car park which is above the beach.
The beach is shingle above the tide mark but clean sand below, fishing onto mainly clean ground.
The harbour fishes onto mainly sandy silt.
The harbour is well signposted in the town.
