Barry has fishing at Little Island Bay, which is sand onto a clean bed but is rarely fished, nearby Friar’s Point is more popular. Fish caught around Barry include bass, smooth-hounds, rays, conger. dabs, whiting, cod, mullet, pouting, flounder, plaice, wrasse. Barry also has beach fishing at Cold Knap, Whitmore Bay, Jacksons Bay, Little Island Bay and Watch House Bay. There is also wall fishing at the Old Harbour and the Docks and rock marks, two of the better known being Friar’s Point and Bendrick Rock.
