Aberystwyth has fishing from South Beach, which is a sand and shingle beach sandwiched between the castle and the harbour breakwater. Fish caught in the Aberystwth area include huss, rays, conger, codling, garfish, pollack, pouting, rockling, wrasse, whiting, dabs, gurnard, cod. For South Beach follow the signs to the Promenade, which runs alongside the beach. On road parking and car parks are available. Aberystwyth also has fishing at Harbour, Tan y Bwlch and North beaches, the Stone Jetty, Castle Rocks and Constitution Rocks.
