Aberystwyth has fishing from Castle Rocks, which have a rocky bottom with many fissures. Fish caught in the Aberystwth area include huss, rays, conger, codling, garfish, pollack, pouting, rockling, wrasse, whiting, dabs, gurnard, cod. To reach Castle Rocks, follow the signs to the castle, where parking is available. The rocks are in front of the castle. Aberystwyth also has fishing at Harbour, Tan y Bwlch, South and North beaches, the Stone Jetty and Constitution Rocks.
