Abertysswg Pond is a small stillwater in the village of Abertysswg between New Tredegar and Rhymney. It it understood to hold perch, roach, rudd, bream, crucian carp, tench, skimmers, gudgeon and eels. We have been unable to locate any contact details so we recommend inquiring locally. Some local anglers say the fishing is free currently, for holders of a rod licence. An angling club might be formed to run fishing on the venue in 2026.
