Set high on the bank of the beautiful River Cothi, The Cottage is a detached former traditional stone cattle byre, sympathetically converted in 2002. There is private fishing on ¼ mile length of the Cothi where salmon, sewin and trout abound. The single storey dwelling exudes a wealth of character with its beams, cosy wood-burning stove and tiled floors. From the French doors in the living room you look across the enclosed gravelled garden, over the donkey’s paddock to the river beyond. Situated on a smallholding with the owner’s farmhouse a short distance down the lane, The Cottage is surrounded by woods and fields. It is a haven for wildlife and an ideal base for bird watching, fishing, walking and mountain biking. The Cottage sleeps 2 in 1 double bedroom. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
