1 mile from the village of Llanfallteg and about ¼ mile from the nearest public road, traffic noise is not a problem here. The path around the lake is perfect for a stroll with the dog, stop a while and watch the wild ducks and geese. Fishing is included in the weekly tariff.

The cottage’s central location is ideal for touring the area with its beaches, castles, gardens and Coastal Path, or you can simply relax and enjoy being away from it all.

Here, we try to be as eco-friendly as we can. Photovoltaic panels generate electricity, water comes from our own well, heating and hot water from our bio-mass boiler. We produce as much of our own fruit and vegetables as we can (including cider from the apples!) and we have our own beef, lamb and eggs which visitors can purchase according to availability.

Latchygors Cottage sleeps 2 in a twin bedroom. All accommodation is on one level. As a converted cowshed, the original beams are exposed, giving the cottage a light and airy feeling.
