Milford Haven has several fishing opportunities around the marina, which is the former docks. It is possible to fish inside the marina and in the lock, boats permitting. Most of the fishing takes place along the harbour wall and from the Mackerel Stage (also known as Mackerel Jetty, Mackerel Quay or Mackerel Landing), which was once used by fishing boats. Fishing is over fairly clean ground although there are scattered rocks and weed. Fish caught include pouting, codling, dogfish, eels, whiting, bass, pollack , garfish, wrasse. flatfish. The marina is well signposted in the town. There is plenty of parking along the harbour wall at the far end of the marina.
