Aberystwyth Angling Association: River Ystwyth - Fishing in Wales

Aberystwyth Angling Association: River Ystwyth

Aberystwyth Angling Association has fishing on the River Ystwyth. It is a true spate river where levels can fluctuate dramatically.

It has a late Summer/Autumn run of salmon but it is the sewin (sea trout) which is the jewel in the crown.

The Association has fishing rights on a short section of the lower reaches below Gosen Bridge, Rhydyfelin, a few miles south of Aberystwyth and reachable on the A44 towards Cardigan.
